Our practice participates in the Westdoc GP Co-operative with all the other doctors in Tuam. Should you require urgent medical care outside of surgery hours the service may be accessed by telephoning 1850 365000. Your call will be triaged by trained nurses who will arrange the most appropriate action for you. This may be advice from the nurse or doctor, a consultation with a doctor at the local centre or a home visit if necessary. We ask you to bear in mind that Westdoc is an emergency out-of-hours service, staffed by local doctors, in addition to their regular surgery hours and that non-urgent conditions should be seen during normal surgery hours. This ensures that those who need urgent attention receive it promptly.
